Challenge update - 7/3/2008
The Old Spice Experience Challenge titled Fshguy's Wanted..... Dead or Alive? has ended. Misha LinGhan has successfully destroyed the competition... even managing to pull MajinFro's underwear over their head on the last day. Good times. A total gain of 4,320 was enough for the win this time... and it only took 7 days!
When you count it up on the final day, all 35 challengers gained 3820 points. Misha LinGhan added 730, bLiNd x RaGe added 345, Rand al Thor 19 added 285, Aldogg33 added 255, kaens added 250, MajinFro added 235, botafogo007 added 220, tjayars added 190, dmd 23 added 165, stignob 10k added 155, Sludgeworth added 145, Fshguy added 125, avsfan4ever33 added 105, Pocrage added 95, kodeezia added 95, admiringworm added 90, JohnnyDrama814 added 80, High Knight added 70, II TrIcKy UK II added 70, DEATHADDER360 added 55, Frostbite added 30, and Dolemite269 added 30. Here is the news... MajinFro is out in front for the time being by feeding on enough achievements for 235 points. Overall, the 35 total challengers put up a total of 4782 points, so at least people are competing! avsfan4ever33 added 1,070, Rand al Thor 19 added 440, botafogo007 added 420, Johndg added 344, High Knight added 330, Aldogg33 added 322, Misha LinGhan added 275, tjayars added 265, Pocrage added 246, kaens added 245, MajinFro added 235, Ricochet 007 added 200, stignob 10k added 130, Frostbite added 115, DEATHADDER360 added 55, Sajaa added 35, OnWithTheShow added 30, Dolemite269 added 15, and buckyfellini added 10. So yeah... avsfan4ever33's gamerscore jumped quite a bit eh? People better start looking over their shoulders.

Oh no! Today was big fun! I see numbers! MajinFro swung the whooping stick and took the lead by feeding on enough achievements for 685 points. All 35 participants combined, they put up a total gain of 5495 points. Overall, the 35 total challengers put up a total of 6144 points, so at least people are competing! Hold on tight! Here we go!! Fshguy has chambered an Old Spice Experience Challenge titled 'Fshguy's Wanted..... Dead or Alive?'... 35 gamers are locked, loaded and ready for battle! There's a lot riding on this challenge. Especially the bragging rights of these gamers. A lot of sleepless nights are ahead for these devoted challengers. We'll see who comes out on top.

I'm out for the rest of the summer, I'll be in the challenges but I won't be putting up many points. My son wants me to play Runescape with him again so I'll be doing a lot of that.

I'd like to apologize to everyone that thought I might slack off on getting 3rd place. Truth is I've not felt so hot the past 2 days and haven't put in the numbers I thought I would. I'll fix that tonight ;)
well he does have the family badge! and his gamerscore is only 36K. I bet there are plenty of sports games to play =)

heh I meant you would need only 3k more ;-) but yea Misha has it in the bag. No way at the moment that I can put a 2k+ lead on her.
In about 4-5 weeks, dont expect anyone to get the number one spot :P

Hmm, well way I see you it will have maybe 4-4.5k, Misha will stay close and drop Avatar & Jumper on the last day and put up over 5k and I will get 3rd with about 3.5k.
Of course people could get motivated to try and get in the mix, but lets be honest.. no one wants to drop 4k to get 3rd place so this far in people are just going to wait til next week.
I'll stick with my prediction of Misha - you - me. We'll see, maybe you'll prove me wrong ;)
You sure you want 3rd Kaens? 3k should secure you 2nd. I think 2nd is a much nicer fit.

I loved Lost Odyssey. I think i had 105 hours when I beat it.
@ Fsh yeah, the saves is pretty spread aound on disc one. but on the other discs the save points are closer, so maybe you can get some more sleep when you get to that point
Hmmm...so somewhere between 10 and 24 hours...
This game is going to cause me to lose a lot of sleep... Wish they had a better save system. Almost an hour plus between potential saves really scares me since I already have enough trouble knowing when to quit!

@ Fsh you can get disc 1 down to 8 hours if you don't get stuck or anything like that
@ Fsh ~ I think the first disc took me around 24 hours, but I like to wander around a lot poking my finger into everything. In Oblivion b4 my game freaked out I had over 200 saves and I was only level 3 or 4 :) I used to go there to pick flowers for stress relief lol.
I think I did LO Disc 1 in about 10-11 hours, but it's been awhile.
I might double my score tonight if I make it through disc 1 of Lost Odyssey... How many hours more or less is it?
I love watching Mario Batali because, while the other guys look like they're stressed beyond belief (understandably so), he always looks like he's having fun, joking with Alton and bringing him stuff to taste, etc. Also he seems to take more chances with what he prepares.
Bobby Flay's great too though, and he creates more stuff I'd actually like to eat. The talent level of all those guys is just unreal.

Look Morimoto is okay, but it's Bobby Flay all the way! He kicked that guys rear last night on the blue foot chicken battle. Every dish he made looked amazing and the "challenger's" food looked like garbage.
I put challenger in quotes because he really wasn't even a challenge. Then I stayed up watching more Food Network followed up with a little Mike Rowe & Dirty Jobs.

I was being oversensitive. U can play any game U can get your hands on. If there is a legal in-game "cheat" then U can play it that way if U want.

I'm sorry I upset you all, I didnt mean for that to happen. This is only my third challenge and I didnt know playing games with only offline achievements were considered "cheating". I do agree with Misha LinGhan about the fact that I should have posted something along the lines of "Got jericho from gamefly today, gonna see if i can finish it in 1 day". I apologize for this also. And in future challenges, I will make sure to post if im going to 1k anything or not.

Unless I'm missing something, the only one I see with offline achievements is Night. I noticed some achievements offline in DiRT, but he has some achievements dated yesterday in the game and also one today. While I hate offline achievements in challenges as much as anyone that doesn't look like hoarding to me, and in this case I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt...since it's his first challenge he may not be clear on what we regulars consider the rules.
Try to get all achievements online.
@Misha - it's much easier to 'enjoy' a challenge when you're going for 12th and not one of the top spots :).

Sorry, I need to clarify my previous comment about Jericho.
I asume the cheat is legal an in-game thing that is allowed and not cheating. I was a little irritated that I let people know I was going for the win and also warned about a few of my games because I felt it was the sporting thing to do yet someone jumps in with a quick 1k. No big deal, I can offset it by buying the same game as well as a crapload of others. I wanted to enjoy the challenge, but I guess I'll just spend a fortune and work my butt off instead bc there is no way I'm letting up.
I don't like playing my games like that, but I can.
Anyway, didn't mean to imply Jericho was cheating, just slightly unsporting.
I DID mean to imply saved up offline points are cheating tho.
I really didn't want to go buy any more new games, but I guess I'll go pick up Jericho and use the cheat since apparently that seems to be the thing to do.
And looks like offline achievements are in now. I guess I can go gamesave 5 or 10k to make sure I win.... Nobody minds, do U :|
I hate that some people can't at least attempt to play fair.
This is the last challenge I'm doing. I've been in over 15 and I can recall maybe one that people just played their games, played them theirselves and didn't get fishy offline achievements to win.

Your wrong, I did some looking and I found that Sajaa also has that achievement. And in fact he has F.E.A.R. completed something that you don't.....
