Challenge update - 8/15/2008
The Gamerscore Challenge titled GameStrata 7th Challenge has ended. MizZatT 46 has successfully destroyed the competition... A total gain of 1,840 was enough for the win this time... and it only took 7 days!
On the final day, the 19 challengers put up a total of 1630 points. MizZatT 46 added 480, NCDarthVader added 455, BX To The B added 210, ZoidbergPHD126 added 175, Darth Sethster added 165, Fitroi78 added 75, weezerzeke added 40, and BIGBIRD324 added 30. A special congrats and thanks to the 18 other competitors.
Challenge update - 8/14/2008
The situation is: MizZatT 46 made it happen and is now in first place by feeding on enough achievements for 575 points. Overall, the 19 total challengers put up a total of 1800 points, so at least people are competing! BX To The B added 715, MizZatT 46 added 575, Fitroi78 added 200, jacobjtl added 110, weezerzeke added 100, NCDarthVader added 50, eZ A C Ke added 40, and Lurfadur added 10. Obviously BX To The B has been a scoring fiend. If MizZatT 46 isn't careful, the lead might change!

Challenge update - 8/13/2008
Yesterday saw some furious gamerscore action. Here's the recap. ZoidbergPHD126 is in the lead and is confident enough to turn in zero new points. When you count it up, all 19 challengers gained 870 points. Fitroi78 added 240, MizZatT 46 added 180, Lurfadur added 145, BX To The B added 100, weezerzeke added 95, NCDarthVader added 70, eZ A C Ke added 20, and A White Nite added 20. Fitroi78 is definitely on the move with that score increase... you better be watching your backs...
Just remember, 2 days might sound like a lot of time, but it really isn't. Ready your breakfasts and eat hearty...for tonight, we dine on achievement points!

The excitement continues. Don't believe me? Check it: ZoidbergPHD126 is the current leader by sucking out 185 points. All 19 participants combined, they put up a total gain of 1020 points. MizZatT 46 added 230, LordRune v101 added 215, ZoidbergPHD126 added 185, A White Nite added 135, BX To The B added 125, Fitroi78 added 50, Excalibur XL added 30, eZ A C Ke added 20, Lurfadur added 15, weezerzeke added 10, and NCDarthVader added 5. So for the record... Great googly moogly!!! MizZatT 46's is a machine eh? Watch your back people!

Look for a variety of games to be played. Every achievement counts! Next stop, the trash talk boards for some good-natured ribbing between competitors. Game on!

Oh wow...I was bad at telling time last night. You're right, I may still have an ace up my sleeve. Havn't even put in my Pub Games code yet and I still have to finish Viking. That's exactly my point White. Bioshock is a perfect example of banging out a buttload of achievements but playing throught the entire game maybe even twice. Sorry, but I'll never play the avatar card.

I was actually highly upset with avatar. Because I bought the game expecting to play a decent game. And then i play it and less than 5 minutes late I have the full 1000 GS. it was a pleasant surprise dont get me wrong, but at the same time i was not happy with the developers....
Sorry man but I like "earning" achives. I played TMNT b/c you have to play through the game. I will never play Avatar b/c that's not playing. That's cheesing. Not my cup O tea (nudge nudge jaferris)

well for now it looks like 100 points seperate 7th to 2nd. Its a fight for 2nd, unless someone puts up some epic numbers, which is highly possible.

Hopefully I'll have a chance to play something and actually get some achievements during this challenge. I wasn't near to winning last challenge, but I had a good showing.
