All the loose ends are tied up... the Old Spice Experience Challenge known as Fshguy's I am Ironman Challenge... is over and the winner is Frostbite racking up a final total of 4,655 points in 7 days!
On the final day, the 30 challengers put up a total of 1110 points. Oh no! Today was big fun! I see numbers! Frostbite swung the whooping stick and took the lead by feeding on enough achievements for 570 points. I am sure everyone is breaking out every title they have to gain the edge. Keep close tabs on this challenge. It's going to be an exciting 7 days!
2.5 hours for Cabela's Big Game Hunter my ass. That game took me like six hours to beat. But now that I think about it, I didn't use a guide.
I just wanted to say thanks! This really was FUN! And now it pays off my two new badges have shown up!

Thanks for the feedback. I used to play Magic so I figured I might give the game a shot. I'm not too worried about points coming slowly if the game is good, but I busted my tail for like 3 months to get my completion above 75% so I'll probably have to play a couple easy games first to get some padding so I don't lose the badge when I pop it in :).
I just finished grinding Bladestorm to 1k--now THAT is a stingy game, though it tries to trick you. "Here, we'll give you 300 points in the first 15 minutes of play. Now grind for 20 hours before you get any more!"
i'm sticking with the fsh challenges myself. more of a community then just challenges.

I've played 3 days straight and I have gotten 5 points. That's how fast they come, oh and I'm better off then most because I did a TON of boosting online first to bulk up my cards. This game is crazy stingy.
Kaens, I just picked up Culdcept. Just how slow, exactly, do the achievements come? I may have to shelf it for a bit cause I just finished up a 60 hour game and don't need another right away.

Yeah just like Jcne said, Fsh expect to see me in your challenges. I really don't want anything to do with the BFC I like these challenges 25-35 people and 7 days. I am sick of being locked up in a challenge for 30 days. Not just the trustworthy issue of other challenges its the prizes. People go out of control for some of these challenges. This is the first challenge that I ever tried to win. And this will be enough for me for awhile.
I'm sticking with fshguys challenges mainly because on the weeks that I feel like scoring points I already know what i'm up against and 99.9 percent of the people in his challenges have been trustworthy / honorable in challenges. I'm not saying the people in the other challenges aren't trustworthy but I've had a pretty decent experience with all the people in fsh's challenges thus far.

Well, Cabela's Big Game Hunter has given me a boost in the ranking so far - I'm leaving 125 points on the table though. I just beat the game, and come to find out that I missed a mission at some point. I was using an excellent guide so I'm not sure where I made the mistake, but I did and of course the game won't allow you to go back and complete any missions you missed.
Despite the game only taking ~2.5 hours to complete, I don't feel like going back right now and completeting all the missions again. Oh, and that glitchy log achievement is still out there too... I would have tried for it had I received the other achivement, but I guess I'll save it for if I ever go back and try to 100% the game.

Honestly, I think you retired me Will. That last challenge killed me and I think I'm just too old to be pulling all nighters like that still. Maybe in a few weeks I'll give it another go for a victory, but til then I'm just going to work on my badges.

Funny you say this z36 because you actually did gamesave/SPG the game. You actually have quite a few cheated games on your card and I'm surprised that Kaens or Jcnet hasn't called you out on them.(Maybe you guys have??) Do you not know that we can now see what time you unlocked your achievements at?? You even cheated Crackdown. Why??? That game was super fun. I just don't understand why people need to cheat.

I'm I legit no and I'm the first person to say so and one that would admit it openly. Now this may get me banned by MS but I did go to the dark side 3 times and this will be the last. Two of the times it was done by one of my friends using my account. And yes the last time was me but it was not much fun and no challenge to it. I could have added a good 10,000 plus but it just didn't feel right. So I stop and will not be doing it again.
Everyone is entitled to there option on cheating I thinking boosting is but that is the way I feel.

Dogs are a lot like babies actually. They drool all the time, have terrible breath, you have to deal with their restroom problems ever hours, need constant attention, and have no real appreciable value.

Achievements are not a part of the constitution, what the creators of them originally had in mind is a moot intention. As long as the owner of the gamertag fulfills the specific requirements of the achievement on their own without violating the terms of xbox live then they have earned that achievment.
I agree there are people out there that take boosting WAY too far. I know of someone that has over 100k legit but does NOTHING but boost almost nonstop never playing multiplayer 'for fun' I disapprove of such behavior but this person is still legit. I come from the school of thought htat boosting is legit because the requirements are fulfilled by the owner of the gamertag. I have boosted some myself in the past I just wish some people would *sometimes* play games for fun online :p
*note* the person I am referencing that does nothing but boost and never plays for fun is not in this challenge*
Pretty much every person over 60k gamerpoints is guilty of boostying at least once but they are still legit until they use a hack,profile glitch, 2nd user, or the gamesaves that belong to another person.

I don't think shooting someone in the head was that was standing next to you 1000 times is what they had in mind when they made the achievement. As for the gamesaves I do not use them. You can choose not to believe me but that is up to you. You can keep telling yourself that you do not cheating when you boost but my question is what is the difference? You are still doing something the way it was not intend to be done.
That said I'm pulling myself out of this challenge. To make everyone happy.

You've been a member here since 2006 ... and you've only played Zuma a total of TWO days according to your history ... so does that mean that in your entire TWO years that you've been on here, every time you fired up Zuma you only did so in an offline capacity? And I'm pretty sure that we'll find the same trend with a couple of those other XBLA games ...
Sure ... many of us boost ... many of us use cheat guides ... and more than one of us has used Avatar ... but there's a VAST difference between doing something like that and the kind of trends that we're seeing in your profile ...
At this point even if your behaviour is simply eccentric, I think none of us would like to see you in this challenge ... and maybe you'd be better off in a different social circle ...

Boosting is not cheating, MS has already said so. The achievement says to shoot someone in head 1000 times, it doesn't say they cannot be a friend or willing participant.
The point you are missing is you are not welcome here! Glitch all you want, but get the hell out of our challenges when you are doing it!

And no I do not have the orange box achievement. I know about a lot of glitchs but do not want to be banned. All you have to do is search the internet. I use GameFQS to help me though the games I have problems getting though.
Wow, there is the typical cheater mentality coming out. For the record, all the achievements for Avatar I completed exactly as intended. There was no achievement for completing the game so I didn't do so. No idea what you are talking about in Orange box, but I'm sure you can tell I didn't glitch to earn anything there either.
Seriously, there are 1600 challenges running right now and 400 pending. I'm sure you can find one where people won't notice you are cheating or make one yourself where just cheaters can hang out and see who cheats the best. Just stop joining Fsh challenges because you are ruining the fun for the other 30 people.
I'm glad everyone is so upset on what I do. I have one question for everyone. Do any of you cheat on games? All of you will say no right. What about Avatar did you play the whole game to get the achieves. My guess no. Did you use the glich in The orange box to get the achieves? My guess no. Oh wow, when he was first accused I looked no further than his Lost Planet, which looked like he did play. But man Misha completely called you out dude. Your Zuma & Marble blast are flat out impossible and the rest is totally suspect.
Fsh, I hate to say it, but you should ask the admins to get rid of this guy and he shouldn't be allowed back in your (at least) challenges.

U unlocked these achieves at the exact same time :
-Completed Gauntlet Mode
-Completed Adventure Mode
-Collected 100coins
-Found 100 gaps
-completed 1 level in 5 or less seconds
-played for 24 hours
U should be ashamed of yourself for cheating then having the gall to try to lie your way out and thinking no one would catch you.

@ z36 ~ ok, so yesterday U SUDDENLY had a desire to do this...
Play DOOM on the hardest mode and make it thru every single episode which has numerous levels in each episode and is not an easy or fast thing to do even on the easiest mode.
get the full 200 in Sonic in one day... admittedly possible in one day but would require that U just rocked at the game way back when. plus it would take off a few hours from the 24 U had to do DOOM s well well as the other.
U also beat the crap out of Marble Blast Ultra.. a very difficult game. Managed to complete even the hardest levels under par AND U managed to get the 2 multiplayer achievements while offline. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure U can't even play that offline. I guess I'll go test it out myself to make sure on that one point tho.
U are either seriously AMAZING as well as super ultra fast or U are lying as well as cheating bc all three games in one day are damn near impossible unless U played each one before on many occassions AND U are pretty friggin good at each.
Sorry, I doubt U are that awesome at these games and never bothered to get the points out of them before. I don't believe U.
And, lol U also managed to slide in some Lost Planet and knock out some Zuma achieves one of which is the 24 hour achieve, also not a fast game.
I suppose any one of these things is possible, but ALL of this in 24 hours. No WAY !
How did you get all the chaos emeralds before beating the game?
just seems fishy << sorry fish>> when everyone else's games have the dates on the achievements but there are only two achivements dated in sonic and the rest are all offline.
Ok I'm not using gamesaves. The last time it was someone who was using my account. If you looked that is all I played yesterday becuase I was trying to clean some games up. If I was using gamesaves would I not have all of the achievements in all the games and not just sonic and come on its Sonic I played it on the Genisis when it came out.
You can say what you want but I'm not using gamesaves. My internet was up and down all day yeterday that is why some of the achievement do not have dates on them. It's ok for some people to get 3 or 4K a day and know one will say anything. This will be my last one so know one will have to worry anymore. I'm done talking about this.
Now that I think back z36 is the ones that joined a challenge most of us were in a few weeks back and he gamesaved like 1500 points on the first day BUT he then did the respectable thing and apologize to everyone and then drop out of the challenge after that.
Why would he join a challenge and cheat again after all that? He earned some of my respect for how he made up fo his past transgressions before but him doing this all over again made him just lose that respect.

most of the people in here seem pretty hardcore between JC, kaens, fish and looks like a few new misha, frost and stallion. sorry to everyone else i know you're all just as hardcore =) especially you vengeance ;)
it's not like any of them, myself or anyone else for that matter aren't going to do a little research on the competition.
@z36 ~ I want to know how U "ACQUIRED" so many xbla achievements yesterday ? Some are very difficult and time consuming and some are for multiplayer and I don't understand how U got them offline.
kaens... i'm with you. not a huge fan of dogs. in fact sometimes i just want to punch them between the eyes and say "growl at me again *#($%"

One of the carpets in the house is on a slippery surface and i was walking on it 10 minutes ago and it slipped underneath me and my big toe on my right foot was bent almost all the way back... I'm lucky I didn't break it. My toes are pretty flexible (I can make my toes point straight up naturally) but my toe bent far beyond merely pointing straight up.
Needled to say it was very painful and my toe still hurts like a *****

Wow Microsoft is implementing a system so that people can unlock achievements for using HD-DVD movies on the official USB hd-dvd player attachment. MS said it is their way of apologizing to the cusomters that bought the product.
Sweet that's like 100 movies I have on had to get achievements in now.. Each movie will have 1000 achievement points attached to it this ROCKS

As for me, I didn't plan on joining a challenge, but last night just as I was about to start Lost I saw the invite on my blog and decided to jump in. And since I already had plans to put up a few points this week, well, this works out rather nicely for me. :)
However, all is not 'lost', I'm not exactly going to hardcore it, so nobody quit. I like competition and do my best when I'm under pressure. So, feel free to continue GTA IV or start up some Culdcept or maybe play Exit if you're into XBLA ^^^ ALL fast point gainers ;) Or maybe work on Seriously or continue with Blue Dragon or Mass Effect....

This is finals week for me still. I wont put effort into this challenge... however I most likely will be tryingin the next one.
