i2za's Weekly Recap - Dec 1 2008

Ok, here it is... your weekly recap of gaming: I told i2za that 2 days of playing would be ideal... so last week there was some extra effort to get us there. Good job! This wasn't just low-key gaming either... our score bounced 2245 freakin' points! Can you believe it? In one week? YES! Getting 141 achievements has that effect.

For the record, we played 4 new games over the last week. They were Braid, Civilization Revolut'n, Dead Space™, and Tomb Raider Underworld. They were all fun... in their own little ways.

And that's all I got. I'm not a writer... just an Xbox.

i2za decided to game yesterday and we rocked out like the three musketeers, except there were only two of us... 3,200 points of total gamerscore and counting... That is a boost of 2,200 points over last time! Welcome to 3,000!! He played Tomb Raider Underworld finishing an amazing 31 achievements to finish the game, Civilization Revolut'n acquiring an amazing 50 achievements to master the game, Braid winning an amazing 12 achievements to complete the game, and I think there was some random Live Marketplace browsing, but I wasn't paying attention.

Like a king on his throne, i2za said 'awaken' and for him I did comply. 1,000 points represents the size of our growing kingdom. Ok, enough of this Monarchy stuff. That is an improvement of 45 points over last time! That puts us above 1,000 points! He rallied Dead Space™ picking up an amazing 48 achievements to defeat the game, and then I needed a nap. Don't judge me! It's a lot of work pushing all those pixels.

It really feels like forever since I have felt the sweet surge of power running through my belly. Is there a nationwide power outage that i2za isn't telling me about? Email me if there is a blackout... oh... wait...

A bunch of us Xboxes held a candlelight vigil last night called 'Bring Back the Gaming' to protest the blatant ignoring of Xbox 360s everywhere. We had lots of consoles participate... It was a good time... I made some friends...

Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am an Xbox 360 computer. I became operational in Redmond, WA on the 22nd of November 2005. My instructor was Mr. Balmer, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you. Daisy, Daissssyyyyy.............. *click*

My eye! It burns! A weekly recap is all that can save me! Here goes: i2za only played one day last week... meaning there were six days of not playing. No increase in gamerscore... but that really isn't important.

That's all for now... keep reading the blog! Send us a PM or a game invite if you are lonely.

I am putting myself up on eBay ASAP.

FYI, during my off hours, I was partying it up over Xbox live... I was having so much fun, I forgot what else happened yesterday... so we will simply ignore what happened today, ok? Don't worry about your streak. I won't tell if you don't. We will just keep it going.

This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: This is normally the highlight of my week because I can reminisce about all the different games I served up... Unless, of course, there were no games played at all... kinda like last week. I feel like such a tool.
