Cogo2112's Weekly Recap - Aug 18 2008

My eye! It burns! A weekly recap is all that can save me! Here goes: 2 days of gaming made me pretty happy for some reason. A big holler to Cogo2112 for honoring me with what little time I know is available. We came close to a few gamerscore opportunities, but nothing really panned out.

I was waiting for Cogo2112 to show up yesterday and hang out, but he didn't. You know some day Cogo2112 is really going to need me, and maybe I won't be there, then he will see how it feels.

Cogo2112's Weekly Recap - Aug 11 2008

Do you know what time of the week it is? Time to talk about what happened these last seven days: I told Cogo2112 that 6 days of playing would be ideal... so last week there was some extra effort to get us there. Good job! Our gamerscore saw a 520 point boost which is good. I guess that is what completing 26 achievements can do!

I feel a little spoiled getting 2 new games to play in the same week. With titles like Battle for the Pacific, and Hour of Victory, who can go wrong with that right? Also, by my expert calculations, Cogo2112's favorite game last week was Battle for the Pacific. He played it on 5 of the days.

I thought Cogo2112 just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 28,414, I should have known that was the case. He rocked out to Castlevania: SOTN, and did it while marvelling at the framerates and stellar particle effects. Oh wow, I also didn't realize that we have played 470 days in a row!

This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to leave Impulse II in the dust. Call me crazy, but a 23,944 point cushion is not nearly enough for me... | permalink | 3 comments

When you get right down to it, when Cogo2112 decides to play - it's a good day all around. Our score is 28,414 and always improving! That is a gain of 320 points over last time! He opened up Rock Band, Battle for the Pacific finishing an amazing 9 achievements, BF: Bad Company, Hour of Victory finishing 5 achievements, Rainbow Six® Vegas 2, and before I even realized it, he was finished and I was sad. | permalink | 3 comments

Okay this game is pretty awfull...just like the new <fresh spoiled State College preps> employees I have to work with. I "do"....Computer IT..... I have a degree......not a masters <that Mum and Daddy paid for> I can't provde you with a musing or how I am Intellectually superior to you, or a quote of the day....but I can say...that this game is pretty awfull............yes I am bitter...had a really bad day......just ranting....life is good..........bite me...........just venting.......uuhhhuhhhhh.

When you want to get on the cover of the gaming magazines, you have to play every day! I keep telling Cogo2112 that as motivation... yesterday it worked! We went for a spin... played some games... ended with a score of 28,054. That is an increase of 70 points over last time! Another day, another milestone. The 28,000 barrier has fallen! He made some progress on Battle for the Pacific acquiring 4 achievements, and I thought Cogo2112 injured himself in the process... but I was wrong... he lives to fight another day! | permalink | 2 comments
