EditorEMB showed up yesterday, which is good cause we make a great gaming team. I do millions of calculations a second and he pushes buttons! Our gamerscore is 18,578. He played Braid, Penny Arcade Episode 1, and did it while drooling over my awesome graphics and sound.
This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: Not many Xboxes can claim seven days of gaming in a row. Last week EditorEMB and I can... and we will... and it feels so good! It was productive... Gamerscore went up 385 points so I am happy. Yay for 12 achievements! w00t!
If I had a DOLLAR for every new game I played during the week, I would have 2 bucks! w00t! I can now add BC:Rearmed, and Madden NFL 09 to my collection... unless they were rentals or demos or betas. I couldn't tell. Oh, and from what I remember, EditorEMB's favorite game last week was Madden NFL 09. He played it on 5 of the days.
And that is all I got... it's not much, but it is interesting.
EditorEMB must have heard my calling... I was practically startled when his greasy finger pounded my power button. I mean come on... be a little gentle... I am fragile. Just some helpful advice for someone with a 18,578 gamerscore. That is an improvement of 120 points over last time! He made some progress on Madden NFL 09 gaining 4 achievements, Braid, BC:Rearmed, and yeah... wow... my processor hurts...
There are people out there who think video games are violent. But after EditorEMB played yesterday with his gamerscore of 18,458 points, there wasn't any violence at all. A little drooling maybe but definitely no violence. He opened up Madden NFL 09, BC:Rearmed, and then EditorEMB developed a funny twitch and went to try and sleep it off or something. Crazy humans...
I thought EditorEMB just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 18,458, I should have known that was the case. That is an increase of 70 points over last time! He rocked out to BC:Rearmed picking up 1 achievement, Madden NFL 09 finishing 1 achievement, and then it felt like he threw my controller and I was like, TAKE IT EASY SHEESH and we stopped.
EditorEMB decided to game yesterday and we rocked out like the three musketeers, except there were only two of us... 18,388 points of total gamerscore and counting... That is a gain of 30 points over last time! He rallied Madden NFL 09 gaining 1 achievement, and almost cried with joy. I have that effect on people.
I told EditorEMB 'Don't make me hurt you!' and the threat worked because he decided to show up yesterday. A gamer score of 18,358 is in our back pocket. He rallied BC:Rearmed, and then it felt like he threw my controller and I was like, TAKE IT EASY SHEESH and we stopped.
Go ahead... call me a wussy... but I almost started crying when EditorEMB turned me on yesterday. 18,358 points of raw gamer score are making you jealous! That is an increase of 155 points over last time! He rocked out to Madden NFL 09 winning 4 achievements, and then I basked in the warm glow of post gaming. Mmmm warm...
EditorEMB came to represent the gaming world. 18,203 points and counting! That is an increase of 10 points over last time! He rocked out to Braid gaining 1 achievement, and that was that. In the now-you-know department, I really thought that gaming 20 days in a row would hurt... but it actually felt good... it felt warm... like butter straight out of the microwave. If I understand the rules, I think we are getting a streak badge...
Another week, another recap... and you love me for it: If your Xbox is depressed, try playing seven days in a row like EditorEMB did last week. It has a way of making you a bit giddy... We added 475 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 29 achievements were worth it I guess!
For the record, we played 2 new games over the last week. They were Braid, and Forza Motorsport 2. They were all fun... in their own little ways. Also, by my expert calculations, EditorEMB's favorite game last week was Braid. He played it on 3 of the days.
And that is all I got... it's not much, but it is interesting.

He made some progress on Madden NFL 08 adding an amazing 11 achievements, Forza Motorsport 2 acquiring 1 achievement, Braid finishing 1 achievement, and then EditorEMB developed a funny twitch and went to try and sleep it off or something. Crazy humans...
EditorEMB seemed really excited to play yesterday. Our current gamerscore is 17,878 . That is an increase of 40 points over last time! He opened up Braid finishing 1 achievement, LEGO® Indiana Jones™ picking up 2 achievements, and it's a good thing he stopped there, otherwise the concentrated awesomeness could have blown out my circuits.
EditorEMB is awesome! Just plain radical even... I say that because we played some games. Did you know our gamerscore is 17,838? That is a boost of 35 points over last time! He rallied Braid acquiring 3 achievements, and then he had to stop because we both couldn't take it anymore... we were spent.

EditorEMB hit the switch and fired me up yesterday... his total gamer score is 17,753.That is an improvement of 35 points over last time! He made some progress on Soulcalibur IV gaining 2 achievements, Blue Dragon, Geometry Wars Evolved² adding 1 achievement, and think of all the things we learned! Ha... look at me still typing this blog entry when there is gaming to do! Let's keep it up EditorEMB!

They were (in no particular order) Blue Dragon, Dark Sector, Geometry Wars Evolved², Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, LEGO® Indiana Jones™, and Soulcalibur IV. I liked them. I think EditorEMB did too. Also, I think we can all agree that EditorEMB's favorite game last week was Dark Sector. He played it on 4 of the days.
And that's it... short and sweet, just like my power cord.

When you want to get on the cover of the gaming magazines, you have to play every day! I keep telling EditorEMB that as motivation... yesterday it worked! We went for a spin... played some games... ended with a score of 17,593. That is a profit of 70 points over last time! He played Dark Sector acquiring 1 achievement, Geometry Wars Evolved² acquiring 2 achievements, Blue Dragon gaining 1 achievement, and then he tried to watch TV, but I killed the power... If I can't have him, no one can.
