Go ahead... call me a wussy... but I almost started crying when Fafhrdd turned me on yesterday. 30,590 points of raw gamer score are making you jealous! That is a profit of 65 points over last time! He made some progress on Wits & Wagers finishing 2 achievements, Fable® II Pub Games, Virtua Fighter 5 winning 2 achievements, N+, and I thought Fafhrdd injured himself in the process... but I was wrong... he lives to fight another day!
Oh hey, time for the gamerscore challenge update too... Fafhrdd still has that going on and stuff. Let me link you to the daily updates and trash talking. There are 9 other people in the chase as well... so it's pretty cool. Currently Fafhrdd is holding the number 2 spot in the group... decent. And while we have 2 days left, let's not procrastinate. Fafhrdd decided to play yesterday. Check out the 30,525 gamer score! He rocked out to Fable® II Pub Games, Virtua Fighter 5, N+, and did it while marvelling at the framerates and stellar particle effects.
Oh, I don't know if Fafhrdd wants me to mention that he has joined a gamerscore challenge! It is called 'Fafhrdd's Quicky #35'. Go check it.

Oh man, Fafhrdd was totally in the gaming zone yesterday when he fired me up to play. 30,525 points of total gamerscore doesn't do his skills justice. He opened up Halo 3, Wits & Wagers, and then... yeah... that was awesome...
Oh also, It's all over man! ALL OVER! The gamerscore challenge called 'Fafhrdd's Quicky #34' is through after an intense 3 days. I hear first place is nice this time of year, though I really wouldn't know, since we didn't get there in this challenge. That's ok though... at least playing against the other 6 gamers was enough incentive to get more points! I like points.

Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: I told Fafhrdd that 6 days of playing would be ideal... so last week there was some extra effort to get us there. Good job! We added 360 points of gamerscore. Good stuff! Who knew 17 achievements could be worth that much? Ok I knew that...
I pestered Fafhrdd to try a new game: Fable® II Pub Games. It was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Oh, and from what I remember, Fafhrdd's favorite game last week was Fable® II Pub Games. He played it on 6 of the days.
I could go on and on with the stats, but that is enough.

Fafhrdd had to choose between watching TV and playing with me and I am happy to say I won... this time... Gamerscore is at 30,525 points. That is an improvement of 50 points over last time! He opened up Fable® II Pub Games, Virtua Fighter 5 acquiring 2 achievements, and after we were done, Fafhrdd hugged me with his eyes. It was one of those platonic hugs... you know...

I saw Fafhrdd walk by yesterday morning... I was hoping he would come play and he did. 30,475 points and climbing. That is an improvement of 45 points over last time! He made some progress on Virtua Fighter 5 gaining 2 achievements, Fable® II Pub Games, N+, and... hmmm... maybe that was all... it felt like we played more games.

What time is it? Time to tell you about yesterday when Fafhrdd came to play. Gamer score stands at 30,430. He made some progress on N+, Fable® II Pub Games, and laughed with joy and glee the whole time. I like making people happy.
Good thing Fafhrdd and I got some play time in! Every day we play is another opportunity to catch up to DODswe4 and that 53,825 gamerscore!
Oh also... Fafhrdd has joined a gamerscore challenge titled 'Fafhrdd's Quicky #34'. Go talk some trash.

I love to game, you love to game, Fafhrdd loves to game, we all love to game! 30,430 points FTW!!! That is an increase of 155 points over last time! He opened up Fable® II Pub Games gaining an amazing 7 achievements, Virtua Fighter 5 adding 1 achievement, N+, and after that, called it a day.
Oh hey... also... I can't even believe that the gamerscore challenge formerly-known-as 'Fafhrdd's Quicky #34' is over. Those 3 days flew by in a whirlwind of achievements and trash talk. We may have earned an 'A' for effort in this challenge, but they don't give out very many points for effort, some... but not many... you gotta win... maybe next time! Lucky for us, we can jump right into another challenge and compete for a bigger win. Plus, it just means more time spent on our favorite games and a bigger gamerscore! I guess we won something after all!

So I have a new gamer picture in case none of you loyal readers noticed. Jury is still out on the cool factor. It is somewhere between awesome and cheese-factor-four. I am sure it will grow on me. In gaming related news... Fafhrdd decided to play yesterday. Check out the 30,275 gamer score! That is an increase of 40 points over last time! He played Fable® II Pub Games acquiring 2 achievements, Virtua Fighter 5 picking up 1 achievement, and then nothing... nothing at all...
I also want to mention/remind you that Fafhrdd is participating in a pretty slamming gamerscore challenge. Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: Fafhrdd only played one day last week, but if I had to chose between none and one next week, one day of gaming is fine by me. We came close to a few gamerscore opportunities, but nothing really panned out.

Fafhrdd seemed really excited to play yesterday. Our current gamerscore is 30,165 . He rocked out to Virtua Fighter 5, N+, and think of all the things we learned! Ha... look at me still typing this blog entry when there is gaming to do! Let's keep it up Fafhrdd!
Fafhrdd also wrapped up a gamerscore challenge today. Remember? Guess who the big loser was? Fafhrdd... booo... oh well. we tried... came in at number 4. So yeah... maybe we can get them next time... maybe we need to try a challenge with easier people... the 6 gamers in this last challenge were too good.

The console forefathers shifted bit after bit just to further the gaming cause. And yet, their efforts may have been in vain, since Fafhrdd did not do their part today and play a game or two.

A big shift in score is coming soon as well. Fafhrdd is competing in a gamerscore challenge titled 'Fafhrdd's Quicky #33' and looking to win big. Expect a lot of games, a lot of points, and no sleep!

If Fafhrdd was a true gamer, he would have played yesterday, but he decided to do something else instead. he better not have another console... It really is too bad Fafhrdd didn't play. We had quite a streak going at 10 days.
Hey, remember that challenge I was talking about a few days ago? The one called 'Fafhrdd's Quicky #32'? It came to a close today. We scraped and clawed our way through a bunch of achievements, but fell shy of the lead, landing at number 2. That's ok though... at least playing against the other 3 gamers was enough incentive to get more points! I like points.

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: Not two, not five, but SEVEN days of gaming in a row! Last week was as solid as it gets when it comes to Fafhrdd throwing down with the games. Our gamerscore saw a 410 point boost which is good. I guess that is what completing 8 achievements can do! Also, I think we can all agree that Fafhrdd's favorite game last week was N+. He played it on 5 of the days.
So that's it for now. It was a good week. On to the next one.
