Yesterday was one of those times MLC2074 mistook the TV remote for the controller. I mean, come on! They don't even look REMOTELY alike! HA! Ok sorry...
Oh I almost forgot to mention that MLC2074 has joined a gamerscore challenge titled 'Sh0ck's 75% completion party'. Go check it out and follow along.
Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: Oh man are my cores just rocking... MLC2074 played seven days last week! SEVEN! That is a NUMBER SEVEN followed by NO ZEROS! HOT! This wasn't just low-key gaming either... our score bounced 2630 freakin' points! Can you believe it? In one week? YES! Getting 70 achievements has that effect. Oh, and MLC2074 must have been in the mood to put the pedal to the metal last week. NFS Most Wanted was the favorite game. She played it on 5 of the days.
And that's it... short and sweet, just like my power cord.
I had to set aside my plans for world domination yesterday when MLC2074 decided to game. Our score is 27,239 and always improving! That is an improvement of 835 points over last time! We have now entered the 27,000 GS club! She played DEAD RISING, All Pro Football 2K8, Tomb Raider:Legend finishing 2 achievements, Madden NFL 06 gaining an amazing 10 achievements, Fuzion Frenzy 2 finishing 2 achievements, King Kong adding 1 achievement, and that was that.
Oh hey... also... I can't even believe that the gamerscore challenge formerly-known-as 'SoupyC's Celebration Party' is over. Those 5 days flew by in a whirlwind of achievements and trash talk. Unfortunately, we came up short, ending up in the number 3 spot. You know, sometimes someone else just has better cheat codes than you do -- I mean, that's the only explanation for a loss in this challenge!!!
MLC2074 brought the pain yesterday... the good kind... the gaming kind. We are up to 26,404 points of gamerscore. Jealous? That is an improvement of 575 points over last time! That was enough to cross the 26,000 mark! Good stuff! She opened up NFS Most Wanted adding 1 achievement to master the game, All Pro Football 2K8 adding an amazing 6 achievements, DEAD RISING adding 5 achievements, and then she had to stop because we both couldn't take it anymore... we were spent.

That is a profit of 790 points over last time! She made some progress on All Pro Football 2K8 adding an amazing 31 achievements, NFS Most Wanted finishing 1 achievement, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory!
What is really good is that every day played is another chance to catch up to Da Cowinator and that 28,682 score... Make it happen MLC2074!!

This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: 5 days of gaming made me pretty happy for some reason. A big holler to MLC2074 for honoring me with what little time I know is available. This wasn't just low-key gaming either... our score bounced 1565 freakin' points! Can you believe it? In one week? YES! Getting 37 achievements has that effect. Oh, and MLC2074 must have been in a role playing mood last week since Phantasy Star Universe was the favorite game. She played it on 4 of the days.

I thought maybe the power was out yesterday... imagine my surprise when MLC2074 hit the switches! Gamerscore stands at 24,609. That is a gain of 435 points over last time! She played NBA Ballers:Chosen One picking up 5 achievements, NFS Most Wanted picking up 2 achievements, and then I needed a nap. Don't judge me! It's a lot of work pushing all those pixels.
This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to prevent WolfVelocity from leaving us in the dust. Call me crazy, but that 45,391 point deficit is totally doable...

She made some progress on Phantasy Star Universe acquiring 1 achievement, NBA Ballers:Chosen One winning an amazing 8 achievements, and then it felt like she threw my controller and I was like, TAKE IT EASY SHEESH and we stopped.
Oh hey, remember the challenge that MLC2074 was in? It has come to an end. It wasn't even a challenge really. It was more like a declaration of experience and skill as MLC2074 won it all! I am king of all the land! Bring me the finest meats and cheeses for the victory feast (and some new batteries)!

Too bad gamerscore isn't money because with an increase of 1000 points we could make some bank. Yay for 23 achievements! w00t!
