Yesterday was a triumph! I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction with hoodedscorpion. Data indicates that gamerscore stands at an always improving 31,018. That is a boost of 10 points over last time! He made some progress on Halo 3, and I thought hoodedscorpion injured himself in the process... but I was wrong... he lives to fight another day!
Hey, I almost forgot! The gamerscore challenge that hoodedscorpion is competing in is on day 3 and we're doing our best to win this thing. Let me link you to the daily updates and trash talking. 4 other competitors are racking up achievements and powering up their gamerscores, hoping to secure a victory! hoodedscorpion decided to game yesterday and we rocked out like the three musketeers, except there were only two of us... 31,008 points of total gamerscore and counting... He opened up Halo 3, Gears of War, and before I even realized it, he was finished and I was sad.
This is really good stuff... the more we play, the more chances we have to leave Sumsa in the dust. Call me crazy, but a 18,211 point cushion is not nearly enough for me...
Oh and it is time for a gamerscore challenge update... listen up... Follow every up and down over here. There are 4 other people involved. I didn't know hoodedscorpion even knew that many people. When you get right down to it, when hoodedscorpion decides to play - it's a good day all around. Our score is 31,008 and always improving! He opened up Halo 3, and then I came out of my trance and realized it was all over.

I told hoodedscorpion 'Hey man, it is time to play games' and YAY! he listened! Gamer score is 31,008. That is an improvement of 260 points over last time! We have now entered the 31,000 GS club! He rocked out to Fable® II Pub Games gaining 5 achievements, Gears of War gaining 3 achievements, Halo 3, and then I needed a nap. Don't judge me! It's a lot of work pushing all those pixels.
Oh, I don't know if hoodedscorpion wants me to mention that he has joined a gamerscore challenge! It is called 'Auto Challenge - #14807'. Go check it.

Oh also, It's all over man! ALL OVER! The gamerscore challenge called 'Auto Challenge - #14450' is through after an intense 5 days. hoodedscorpion didn't win... While we did end up in the number 5 spot, it just wasn't enough... That's ok though... at least I got into some group-action against 4 other gamers... giggidy...

What is really bad is I thought we were starting to catch up to porschephiliac and that 66,589 score... but not playing sure doesn't help the cause...

Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: If you are an Xbox, you might be jealous that hoodedscorpion showed up to game 2 days this last week. Happy happy joy joy! No increase in gamerscore... but that really isn't important. Also, I think hoodedscorpion's favorite game last week was Rock Band. He played it on 2 of the days.
And that's all I got. I'm not a writer... just an Xbox.

Well, I didn't get to game yesterday... I hope this doesn't become some sort of trend... that would be on the lame side of things...
This really sucks because it gives zDoPeFieND420z a shot at widening the gap. We are still 7,057 points behind... but we can't get there if we don't play.
Oh, remember the challenge that hoodedscorpion was competing in? Well, it's over. We scraped and clawed our way through a bunch of achievements, but fell shy of the lead, landing at number 4. That's ok though... at least playing against the other 4 gamers was enough incentive to get more points! I like points.

I thought hoodedscorpion just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 30,748, I should have known that was the case. He played Rock Band, and loved every minute of it in high definition glory!
