I told jarjarisgod 'Don't make me hurt you!' and the threat worked because he decided to show up yesterday. A gamer score of 39,513 is in our back pocket. That is an improvement of 240 points over last time! He played Civilization Revolut'n finishing an amazing 19 achievements, and after that, called it a day.
I also want to mention/remind you that jarjarisgod is participating in a pretty slamming gamerscore challenge. Don't take my word for it! See for yourself! There are 4 other people rocking out on this thing which keeps it fun. Currently jarjarisgod and I are on top of the challenge mountain... it's so beautiful, and high. I can see my house from here. Is that an airplane, or a space shuttle? How's the weather down there? With 2 days to go, anything can still happen though...

When you get right down to it, when jarjarisgod decides to play - it's a good day all around. Our score is 39,273 and always improving! He made some progress on Rock Band, as well as stared off into space... thinking about the one that got away.

jarjarisgod hit the switch and fired me up yesterday... his total gamer score is 39,273.That is a boost of 40 points over last time! He rocked out to Rock Band winning 1 achievement, and I thought jarjarisgod injured himself in the process... but I was wrong... he lives to fight another day!

Consoles are for playing! I am glad jarjarisgod picked up on that yesterday... Gamerscore is a respectful 39,233 points. He opened up Rock Band, and then the lightweight went to bed. Freakin' wuss.

3 Processors, 512MB of RAM, custom graphics chip and multichannel surround sound all gone to waste yesterday as jarjarisgod decided not to show up.
This really sucks because it gives The Kittyhawk a shot at closing the gap. We are still 20,972 points ahead but that means nothing to me...

Do you know what time of the week it is? Time to talk about what happened these last seven days: jarjarisgod played 2 days last week... pretty solid I guess... I'm not feeling that picky lately. We added 90 points of gamerscore. Points are good! Those 9 achievements were worth it I guess!
For the record, we only played one new game this last week. It was Conan. I was hoping for a few more, but I guess not everyone is made out of money! Also, I think jarjarisgod's favorite game last week was Rock Band. He played it on 2 of the days.

Oh, remember the challenge that jarjarisgod was competing in? Well, it's over. I hear first place is nice this time of year, though I really wouldn't know, since we didn't get there in this challenge. So yeah... maybe we can get them next time... maybe we need to try a challenge with easier people... the 4 gamers in this last challenge were too good.

I thought jarjarisgod just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 39,233, I should have known that was the case. That is a gain of 90 points over last time! He opened up Rock Band, Conan finishing an amazing 9 achievements, and then I basked in the warm glow of post gaming. Mmmm warm...

Good thing jarjarisgod and I got some play time in! Every day we play is another opportunity to pull away from illbill859 and that 17,284 gamerscore!

Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: 2 days of gaming made me pretty happy for some reason. A big holler to jarjarisgod for honoring me with what little time I know is available. I was sort of hoping for a gamerscore bump, but that didn't materialize. Also, I think jarjarisgod's favorite game last week was Guitar Hero III. He played it on 2 of the days.
So that's it for now. It was a good week. On to the next one.

Also, remember the challenge that jarjarisgod was participating in? It has wrapped up. Unfortunately, we came up short, ending up in the number 32 spot. Lucky for us, we can jump right into another challenge and compete for a bigger win. Plus, it just means more time spent on our favorite games and a bigger gamerscore! I guess we won something after all!

He opened up Rock Band, Guitar Hero III, and I think there was some random Live Marketplace browsing, but I wasn't paying attention.
Oh and it is time for a gamerscore challenge update... listen up... Check out the progress right now! 34 other people are mixing it up, meaning fierce competition and some creative trash talk.
