jcnet has a general comment:
Have virtually no gaming cred as far as I, a leading expert on games is concerned.
Those of you in the know, are aware of exactly what I am talking about here.
This also applies to a few users of kotaku that are labeled as "star commentors"
I just love it when people that know less about gaming than me argue with me.

Skipping school
jcnet the actual person says:
Well madnessraveneye has been on GTA IV NOT AFK since around 10 pm pst lastnight... that's right on a school night he has been on GTA IV ALL DAY.
He's obviously going to go to hell, he's obviously not going to be successful in life... so why does he even force himself out of bed everyday? I mean really. If you knew your life was a predetermined failure would you even bother waking up each morning? I sure wouldn't so why does he?
Someone needs their own blog I think...

jcnet's Xbox - May 16 2008
jcnet seemed really excited to play yesterday. Our current gamerscore is 104,235 . He opened up Assault Heroes 2, Arkadian Warriors, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, and wished it would never end, but it did and that was sad.
A big shift in score is coming soon as well. jcnet is competing in a gamerscore challenge titled 'The Chronicles of Libertyville: Prince Fshguy' and looking to win big. Expect a lot of games, a lot of points, and no sleep!
Tomorrow's blogs
jcnet the actual person says:
I'm gonna send a mass comment out tomorrow that revolves around peoples views of bragging, such as when is bragging ok, how far should a person be allowed to go with their bragging before they are considered "annoying" and I might ask some questions to my watchers that revolve around the whole concept in general
I wish I was that good of a writer...

jcnet playing Assault Heroes 2...
Here it is... your moment of Zen from jcnet while playing some Assault Heroes 2. Enjoy...
This is a lot better than the first one but it seems a little bit harder as well (not that that is a bad thing)
Sometimes I just humor him... it helps.

jcnet's Xbox - May 15 2008
jcnet was looking kind of weepy... luckily I was here to 'console' him... heh heh get it? Our gamerscore is fan-frickin-tastic 104,235 . That is a profit of 10 points over last time! He played Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Arkadian Warriors, Assault Heroes 2 picking up 1 achievement, and did it while drooling over my awesome graphics and sound.
Good thing jcnet and I got some play time in! Every day we play is another opportunity to pull away from fshguy and that 87,165 gamerscore!
Oh, remember the challenge that jcnet was competing in? Well, it's over. jcnet didn't manage to get the win... but I guess number 29 is better than number LAST!!... wait... maybe we are last? How many people are in this thing? Can I count? You know, sometimes someone else just has better cheat codes than you do -- I mean, that's the only explanation for a loss in this challenge!!!
Velodyne is a liar
jcnet wanted me to tell you:
I'm just going to make this known again... though I think most hardcore collectors already know this.
Gamertag: velodyne
Every few weeks or months he spams all over the internet about his massive colleection and he brags and brags and brags and BRAGS he joins communities such as gamefaqs, teamxbox, and gametrailers JUST to post a thread about his collection yet when you look at his posting history he has ZERO posts in any other threads on the site. To make matters worse he can't even correctly count - he Says he owns a complete north american collection of xbox 360 games - that is true he does own every 360 game just like me BUT he claims there are 247 retail games out.
THERE ARE NOT. there are a max of 242 retail games out currently in north america.... his numbers are so ridiculous he even includes the burger king promotional arcade games as "retail games"
So what pushed me over the proverbial edge of reluctance to post this? He emailed kotaku and had them post his collection despite the fact that velodyne is considered a JOKE amongst 360 collectors. Furthermore He talks about having a hardcore massive collection but his total collection across all his systems is LESS than 500 games....
Let's put that into perspective here for a minute..... I own 500 games JUST for my original xbox. he's a piece of **** wannabe I wouldn't have a problem with him if he could do two things:
1. Count correctly
2. Spam his collection all over the net like he actually has a collection worthy of world wise praise.
his collection is **** and he knows it, all he is is a fanboy that only buys xbox/360 games it's disgusting.
Sometimes I just humor him... it helps.

The rumored features in the next dash update...
jcnet is hijacking my blog:
I will not post the full list here I strongly believe the rumored list is not what we will be actually getting.
The list is too good to be true, 4 person private chat, DRM issues resolved, and many other things, but one of the bigger features was support for motion controls (ala wii mote)
I honestly think this was a hoax list leaked by a fanboy of some kind to get everyone drooling over all the features we've lusted after for so long I think the entire list was an elaborate hoax for the sake of making a reference to motion controls. I think the person that designed the list created it SOLELY for that reason As if it was some elaborate ruse JUST so the person could add fuel to the fire over the rumors of 360 getting motion control.
Don't count on these features becoming reality everyone it it all is too good to be true.

BUFFone4438
jcnet wanted to throw something out there. Who am I to say no:
http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/profile.aspx?pp=0&GamerTag=BUFFone4488
If you look at his point gains over time he see's some huge leaps. At first glance it appears he plays offline a lot and updates his score every so often but take yesterday for example - he got over 6,000 points in one day and then today he unlocks over 1k more points unlocking 95 percent of the achievements in lost planet in one day.
His bio and motto says he loves to collect, play for fun and someday hopes to be in the games industry.
BULL **** He doesn't play for fun if he played for fun he wouldnt cheat for the intention of gaining achievements.
Some might argue that he cheats to unlock 'cool features in the game without having to beat the game' but that argument is moot when you see in many of his games he unlocked all the achievements at the same exact minute.
The guys an ass - you know it, I know it, he knows it, heck even his PARENTS know it. Thats likely why they got rid of him at age 5.
I plan on keeping tabs on him. If i find out he gets a job in the industry that company is gonna get a little anonymous tip that their little new employee does some AWFUL and VERY illegal things on their free time. I won't say the details yet but either way if he gets into the industry I plan on ruining his 'dream' since he is obviously an untrustworthy liar.
Don't worry though if he gets into the industry I wont make my move right away - I'll wait till 2 weeks before christmas.
"Merry Christmas ***hole"

jcnet's Xbox - May 14 2008
I love to game, you love to game, jcnet loves to game, we all love to game! 104,225 points FTW!!! He opened up GTA IV, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Arkadian Warriors, Star Trek Legacy, as well as checked out what was new in the live marketplace.
And..... guess what? I will reveal the latest gamerscore challenge status to you as a matter of public record. If you want to follow along at home, catch the action here. There are 29 other people involved. I didn't know jcnet even knew that many people. Currently jcnet is holding the number 29 spot in the group... decent. Only one day left though... We better get on it if we are going to pull this thing out.
Blinkandgone
It is suppose to be my blog, but jcnet wants a shot:
http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/profile.aspx?pp=0&GamerTag=blinkandgone
This guy is a 'new cheater' he has had his privacy settings on ever since the tags inception HOWEVER he is not a new tag. While he popped into the top 10 seemingly overnight the tag is actually an old tag - how do I know this?
I sent it a friend request as jcnet and I refreshed the xbox.com page - it said I had never sent a friend request (no option to cancel a request)
I then opened internet explorerer with my alt tag signed in I sent him a friend request - the request went through and I had the option to cancel the request.
What does this mean? Well it means that it is something my jcnet persona has had contact with. I have a history of targeting hardcore cheaters or people that insult me and ORDERING them to cease and desist their actions. The fact that this 'new' tag has me blocked tells me it is likely someone I had had recent dealings with.
There are quite a few people I have had such dealings with but one of the more recent ones that I can recall that has been proven to have hacked achievements is "legendofGS"
I am not sure who this blinkandgone person USED to be but I WILL find out. it's just a matter of how many days it takes. Anyway needless to say the tag in question is someone that has earned over 70k gamerpoints in the last 24 hours.
Wasn't that a great story?
Written May 13 2008 20:42:53
Well that's a relief
jcnet is taking over:
I've been told things will be back in place tomorrow. I'm glad because there is one blog entry in particular that was important to me staying up (that had nothing to do with any rants or gaming) so I am glad it hasn't been lost forever.
Wasn't that a great story?
Written May 13 2008 20:26:24
Hmm
jcnet wanted to throw something out there. Who am I to say no:
well my ability to microblog is back but ALL .... ALL of my past microblogs have been deleted. I am extremely disappointed in this especially since many of my microblogs were non-offensive, non controversial and in place just to sorta record game progress.
I sincerely hope I'll be getting those older blogs back.
So there you have it... w00t...

jcnet's Weekly Recap - 5/12/2008
This entry is a little different than the others. It is a recap of the last week of gaming. Check it: If your Xbox is depressed, try playing seven days in a row like jcnet did last week. It has a way of making you a bit giddy... It was productive... Gamerscore went up 260 points so I am happy. Yay for 10 achievements! w00t!
I was feeling a little bored last week and convinced jcnet to try a new game: Wits & Wagers. It wasn't as cool as I thought it would be. Oh, and jcnet must have been in a role playing mood last week since Arkadian Warriors was the favorite game. He played it on 7 of the days.
Another week finished... staring down the barrel of another one. Check back to find out what happens!
jcnet's Xbox - May 12 2008
I thought jcnet just wanted to listen to music or watch a DVD. Turns out he was there to game. With a gamer score of 104,225, I should have known that was the case. jcnet's Xbox - May 11 2008
Like I always tell jcnet, gaming is like money... the more the better! So fill up my pockets baby! All that matters is that our gamerscore is 104,225 points and on the rise. He rallied Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Arkadian Warriors, GTA IV, and then nothing... nothing at all... It is worth mentioning that we have played 480 days in a row!
Oh BTW, did you know that jcnet is competing in a gamerscore challenge? Check out the progress right now! There are 29 other people rocking out on this thing which keeps it fun. jcnet has the number 29 spot... But, there are still 4 long days left! We need to keep heading for the top!
