Have you ever wondered what it was like to play games with someone who has a gamerscore of 139,824? Well guess what... you will never know, and I do! Kaens is mine! All mine! No touchy! That is an increase of 50 points over last time! He made some progress on Braid finishing 1 achievement, and then Kaens went to get some food. I told him to bring me back something but I got seriously dissed.
Someone ask for a weekly recap? Even if you didn't, here it is: It is a good one! Kaens had seven days of gaming! In a row! I know! Crazy! We added 275 points of gamerscore which ain't too shabby. Getting 19 achievements can do that to you. I was there. I saw it!
NEW GAMES! NEW GAMES! NEW GAMES! 3 of them to be exact! Braid, Chessmaster Live, and Fable® II Pub Games. I want more! I want more! Also, by my expert calculations, Kaens' favorite game last week was Geometry Wars Evolved². He played it on 4 of the days.
And that's all I got. I'm not a writer... just an Xbox.
Kaens held the Xbox button on his controller down for a few seconds and our adventure began! A gamer score of 139,774 is lighting the way. That is an improvement of 80 points over last time! He made some progress on Chessmaster Live gaining 1 achievement, Fable® II Pub Games picking up 5 achievements, and after that powered me down without even saying good night. I mean what the heck?
You would think I had died and gone to heaven when Kaens showed up to play. Gamer score stands at 139,694. He rallied Geometry Wars Evolved², Braid, and laughed with joy and glee the whole time. I like making people happy.
Hey, remember that challenge I was talking about a few days ago? The one called 'Pinball Wizards With Pac-Man Fever'? It came to a close today. Kaens didn't manage to get the win... but I guess number 11 is better than number LAST!!... wait... maybe we are last? How many people are in this thing? Can I count? You know, sometimes someone else just has better cheat codes than you do -- I mean, that's the only explanation for a loss in this challenge!!!
When you get right down to it, when Kaens decides to play - it's a good day all around. Our score is 139,694 and always improving! That is a boost of 45 points over last time! He opened up Chessmaster Live acquiring 1 achievement, Braid finishing 2 achievements, and I thought Kaens injured himself in the process... but I was wrong... he lives to fight another day!
Hey, I almost forgot! The gamerscore challenge that Kaens is competing in is on day 4 and we're doing our best to win this thing. Bookmark this link now and check out all the action! 16 other people are mixing it up, meaning fierce competition and some creative trash talk. Out of all those people, Kaens is currently parked at number 11. I spoke to his dayplanner -- we've booked the whole day for a very important task -- unlocking achievements and winning this challenge. Let's do this.

Also, Kaens went and accepted a gamerscore challenge, so I'm stocking up on coffee for the overtime I'll be working over the coming days. Check it out... the challenge is called 'Pinball Wizards With Pac-Man Fever'.
Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: If your Xbox is depressed, try playing seven days in a row like Kaens did last week. It has a way of making you a bit giddy... Our gamerscore saw a 120 point boost which is good. I guess that is what completing 9 achievements can do!
I convinced Kaens to try a new game: Geometry Wars Evolved². It was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Also, according to the records, Kaens must have been craving some FPS action because The Orange Box was the weekly favorite. He played it on 4 of the days.

Kaens also wrapped up a gamerscore challenge today. Remember? Despite 5 days and nights of gaming goodness though, we couldn't take the lead and ended up finishing at number 23. That's ok though... at least playing against the other 29 gamers was enough incentive to get more points! I like points.

My power supply almost exploded! Kaens turned on the juice and we did some serious gaming! 139,464 points of total gamerscore is pretty good. Admit it. That is an improvement of 35 points over last time! He rallied The Orange Box finishing 2 achievements, and afterwards, there were some awkward stares and silence... you know how it is.

Out of all the possible new games we could have tried this last week, Kaens and I only tried one of them: Battlestar Galactica. Pretty fun I guess...
